I suggest you ...

Provide optional "Is this task still active?" pop-ups

Provide optional pop-ups, with user-selectable time intervals (e.g. 15 min, 30 min, 1 hours, etc.), that will open a window basically saying "Hey, are you still doing this task?"

I run SlimTimer in a small separate window via the "Bubbles" thing. That window is usually covered by my browser, and I often forget to stop a task when I'm done. I think my suggestion would provide a solution to this problem.

Bubbles seems to have disappeared. Having this feature built into SlimTimer is now more important.

Meon's Bubbles Module works great for this but Bubbles appears that it might be Abandonware at this point. I do suggest trying bubbles and Meon's module while it is still available.

I agree fully with the idea creater. This exactly really always bugs me that I forget to stop a project running, I just got a phone call, my wife calls me for lunch, the pizzaman comes or whatever unplanned thing happens that stops my workflow as well as make me forget slimtiming. "Hey, are you still doing this task?" would solve this matter, in addition I recommend an audio alert as well.

Personally, I don't like attending to another task (assuring SlimTimer I am still working) while working on a project... it's distracting and can be detrimental to productivity. I would recommend of saving a record in the background when SlimTimer thinks I went inactive so I can go back to edit my entries and just say "stop timing at this inactive point" so it adjusts it accordingly.
