  1. Miles/Kilometer Registration

It would be very that you can enter miles/kilometers next your time registration. With the totals in your export of your timetable.

  2. highlight gaps and overlaps in edit view

I'd like an option (or maybe it wouldn't be too annoying to be there for everyone) to highlight gaps and overlap between time entries in the edit entries view. This highlighting should probably have some minimum gap / overlap time, like a minute or something similar.

  3. Reports - have a "Yesterday" choice

I work on a lot of Scrum projects. It would be nice to have a report I can run for "Yesterday", that lists all the items on which I have worked.

This is more convenient than having to always do a "custom" date range.

  4. Include tag column in timesheet/invoice reports

Include a column of the tags entered for tasks in the timesheet and invoice reports. I don't have any predefined tags for tasks, but enter a new time each time I burn down time on a task depending on the type of work I'm doing. Often I don't enter a comment, so many entries on these reports become useless because the information on how the time was actually spent is captured by the tags.

  5. Add the name of the task owner on the reports

This would be especially useful when running reports for 'everyone' or running report for 'specific' multiple users.

  6. RSS Feed: Task, Report

    Provide RSS feeds on:
    Task Lists
Task Report Hours - to show burn rates
Should have security option to be secure or public so that can use to report in other apps without burdening users with login to see basic data

  7. Add charts to the reports

It would be cool that additional to the table view you could generate chart views of a report. Bar and pie charts of hours spend on a specific task would be cool!

  8. Unresponsive or 502 BadGateway

Slim Timer became quite unresponsive lately. I also get 502 Bad Gateway error often.

  9. Interface with Freshbooks

Freshbooks makes it difficult to start up their timer. It would be great if Slimtimer could easily import to Freshbooks without having to re-enter each item into their timesheet manager.

  13. Make columns in Edit Entries sortable, default sort by time

Right now the entries are listed in reverse chronological order by the time in which they are created; I often am going back in and filling in gaps where i was forgetting to time things, and it would be great to have these organized by time period instead. For that matter, it would be nice to have all the columns sortable.

  14. Drag drop ordering of tasks

When using the side bar, I tend to reorder based on my priority for the day. My thought is that I would like to be able to drag them and have it remember the order purely cosmetic.

  16. Allow task filtering in the SlimTimer Client

I'd like to have a completely client-side (no AJAX calls) filtering mechanism on the SlimTimer Client. I should be able to filter based on task tag, task name, sharing attributes, and perhaps time since task creation.

  17. Total hours logged counter with manual reset

Think "Trip Odometer". It's a counter that doesn't reset to zero when you change tasks, instead it only changes to zero when the user resets it.

This could be used as a day or week timer to keep track of total hours worked. It could even be used between invoices.

  19. Include options to monitor costs and include rates

My colleagues and I work for a number of clients on an hourly rate. The rate varies from client to client and from job to job.

I like the existing facility to run reports to see how much time we've spent working for a particular client (using tags) and on what, but it'd be even more useful if I could also automatically see how much to charge, too!

It would help me to bill clients that we work for by the hour. And if I could apply a relevant rate to each task, either from a custom made list of…

  20. add keyboard navigation in timer

i'd love to use arrows to move up and down in the timer window, and space or enter to start/stop a task.
