  1. Can't create a new account

I've been trying to create a new account for some time but I always get an error message:

  2. App for android / OS for users to track time off-line and sync later.

I am often working during flights or in situations without constant internet access. An android app (similar to Xpert-timer, for example) would be great for tracking time off-line and syncing later, when one is online would be great.

  3. Sound alert every x minutes to remind you to update

I often forget to update the SlimTimer with what I'm currently working on, so an audio (or visual pop-up) would be nice to remind me to update.

  4. Include Task, Tags, and Comments in Report

It would be very helpful if, when running a Timesheet report, the csv file created includes Task, Tags, and Comments... I tend to use both Tags and Comments and need to report/sort all of this info.

    Thanks for your help!

  5. chrome support

Generally works in Chrome but I notice glitches. For example, the timer window width is constrained from being shrunk.

  6. Add Restful API

Instead of building a big bloated application with lots of features, I would suggest that you implement a REST-ful API that anyone could then use to build highly specific tools around your system.

For example, I might want a desktop app that tracks what my currently focused application is and track my application and file usage. With an API I could do that.

I would also make the API more robust than your UI. Keep a clean face for the world but let others do cool things. Easy win: Arbitrary collection of Name/Value pairs (string, number, date values) on everything…

  7. Make start and end time optional

i just want to track daily time spent on each task. I don't care about stard and end time.

  9. Do not show seconds

It would be nice not to show seconds in the interface. Having the window title update for every seconds is distracting and consumes CPU for nothing (the browser has to redraw the interface every seconds).

  10. Filter reports by tasks AND tags

I need to be able to find entries of a task that have specific tags on them. Please make "filtering by tasks" and "filtering by tags" non-exclusive to each other.

  11. Maximum project time warning

It would be nice to put weekly / monthly 'limits'. I am allowed to work for a fixed amount of hours per week/month/day on a project, and the second thing I do is keep an eye on slimtimer for that!

But, as the number of projects are growing, it's hard to keep track. It would be nice if it would give another color, flash or anything to inform me that I am reaching the maximum time for that project. Nothing fancy, just backgroundcolor of font type or maybe a small warning symbol.

  12. Integrate with Toodledo

I'd like to be able to time my Toodledo tasks, and keep track of it as I add them on that site. At very least I want to be able to import them. Integration with that service makes Slimtimer useful for more than ad hoc kinds of projects. An import feature is essential, though--I'm not recreating all the stuff I've already created on this site!

  13. hide/show tasks in edit lists based on tags

example: my completed tasks list is VERY long, making it difficult to find the tasks I've just billed, so that I can tag them with billed. If I could view ONLY the tasks not marked with billed tag or of only a specific customer, it would simplify things quite a bit without having to allow for archiving, or the like. This could also work nicely with an edit multiple feature, allowing for a tag addition to all selected tasks.

If it comes to be able to convert the CSV data in Japanese, it contributes it with pleasure.

  15. Keyboard shortcuts in timer, edit entries pages

Gmail has shortcuts such as "C" for composing a new message. It would be very handy to not require mouse usage for editing entries and starting / stopping the timer.

  16. Faster - Make pages load faster

Basic things like editing and saving entries can take up to 20 seconds after clicking the "go" button.

  17. Pivot report shows comments

Pivot report is best for turning in time reports for entry into Quickbooks by financial staff, but lacks ability to show comments as well as tags and tasks. I use tasks for my job names, tags for the action type, and comments for descriptions for billing.

  18. Regular notification bubbles

It would be very handy to have little pop-ups from the notification area to keep workers aware of their current hours and to let them know that SlimTimer is still running if they forgot to end their session.

  19. to allow time entry for entire week with default start time.

It would be great if it is allowed to enter the time on weekly basis and we have to enter just hours for each day and we can configure the default start time for the task. It will make it easy for those people who has only one routine task everyday for entire day and just want to count hours.

  20. Allow subtasks, a task inside a task

You often find, that something You are trying to do is much more complicated. You need to split it into smaller parts to get hold of it.

You can do it by completing the old task and adding smaller tasks instead, but then it doesn't really fit the reality of what has happened. Instead, many of the requests (like the project grouping) could simply be resolved with tree task hierarchy and the reporting would get much easier.
