    I use the timer to track time spent on activities both at and away from my desk (e.g. Project and Team meetings). If the task were paused on idle I'd lose that time. 50% of the time I change tasks and walk to a meeting.

    I like this idea to allow estimates to be entered for two reasons. 1) Review plan v. actual. 2) When coupled with option to have SlimTimer alert me (tray alert?) to ask "are you still working on this?". Think the option to alert me would help to keep me honest and reduce maintenance/cleanup after the fact.
